There’s just one topic for this month’s TFP update – but it’s an important one.
It brings us great pleasure to confirm that TFP Financial Planning Ltd. have been awarded British Standard BS 8577, a highly assessed framework for the provision of financial advice and planning services.
The assessment follows a two-year period of dedication and effort from the team at TFP Financial Planning Ltd, led by Lucy Byrom, working with our external consultants, Standards International Ltd.
The only recognised British Standard for financial planning
BS 8577 is the only recognised British Standard for financial planning and is awarded to companies able to demonstrate best practice within their operational systems and processes.
The certification examines our business in detail within every area, demonstrating that we achieve a high standard of professionalism and efficiency in everything we do.

We looked at our operations, procedures, and processes – examining every aspect of the business – and reviewing, tweaking, and updating along the way.

Achieving the certification showed we are doing the right things for our team and clients, as well as bringing even further improvement to our day-to-day operations.
