Casey Mills

Founding Director & Chartered Financial Planner

Casey founded TFP in 2015 after 14 years in financial services, driven by the belief that the provision of independent financial advice can be so much better. He’s passionate about creating opportunities, developing and empowering the next generation to drive TFP and the financial planning profession forward.

A Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, Casey’s commitment to ongoing learning ensures clients receive the best possible advice. He specialises in helping couples plan for a fulfilling retirement – figuring out ‘How much is Enough’ and then helping them align their money with what is most important – ensuring they make the most of their time.

Outside of work, Casey is a proud Dad to Zachary, a tech genius, and Darcey, who’s destined for the stage. When he’s not reading , walking his Golden Retriever – Nova or in the gym, you’ll likely find him glued to a sports match.

Dan Haylett

Marketing Director & Financial Planner

Dan is on a mission to transform how we think about and plan for retirement.

As the founder of Humans vs Retirement and Director of TFP, Dan helps people navigate the messy middle between work and what’s next. He’s not your typical financial adviser. His approach blends behavioural science, life design, and tax-savvy income strategies to help people build a rich, fulfilling retirement, financially and emotionally.

A dynamic speaker, podcast host, and trusted guide to clients in one-to-one retirement planning conversations, Dan is known for challenging outdated retirement narratives and replacing them with honest, engaging, and often humorous insights. Whether he’s on stage, on the airwaves, or designing tools and frameworks for his clients, Dan helps people see retirement for what it really is: a complex human transition, not just a numbers game.

If you’re looking for a guide who knows how to balance spreadsheets with storytelling, and financial planning with emotional readiness, Dan is your guy.

Outside of work Dan is married to Diane and Dad to Gracie & Olivia. He is a single figure handicap golfer and when he is not talking all things retirement you will find him chasing the little white ball around a field
