Stepping Into the Role of Managing Director at TFP

A couple of years ago, I shared a blog titled “Apprentice to Director.”

It was a reflection on a journey I never quite expected… starting out as an admin, learning the ropes, pushing myself through exams, and gradually growing into a leadership role within TFP.

Looking back now, it was just the beginning.

A New Chapter

This past week has been full of those rare moments where you pause and take it all in.

As a team, we’ve spent time reflecting, challenging each other, dreaming, and mapping out what the next chapter of TFP looks like. Not just in terms of growth, but in terms of who we are, what we stand for, and the impact we want to have.

And amongst all of that, I’ve stepped into a new role.

I’m incredibly proud to be taking on the position of Managing Director at TFP.

Carrying the Story Forward

If the first chapter of my journey was about growth, learning, and opportunity… this one is about responsibility.

Responsibility to:

  • Protect what makes TFP special
  • Continue building something meaningful
  • Create an environment where people can do the best work of their lives

Because TFP has never been about job titles.

It’s always been about people.

That same culture that gave me the opportunity to grow—from apprentice to director—is the exact culture we’re committed to protecting and evolving for the next generation of the team.

What Won’t Change

As we move forward, there are a few things that remain non-negotiable:

  • Our tribe comes first
  • Our clients are genuinely cared for, not just serviced
  • We continue to challenge the norm and do things differently

This isn’t about becoming bigger for the sake of it.

It’s about becoming better, with intention.

The Power of the Team

One thing that’s really stood out recently is just how special this team is.

There’s something different about being surrounded by people who care deeply… not just about the success of the business, but about the environment we create and the lives we impact.

That kind of culture doesn’t happen by accident.

It’s built, protected, and strengthened over time.

And it’s something I feel incredibly proud to help safeguard.

Looking Ahead

If there’s one thing I’m certain of, it’s that the future of TFP is incredibly exciting.

Not because of the role I’m stepping into, but because of the people around me and the shared belief in what we’re building.

This is just the next chapter.

And I can’t wait to see where it takes us.
