Introducing someone to TFP (the easy way)

If you’ve ever thought, “TFP would be great for them”, thank you… that really does mean a lot to us.
The easiest way to introduce someone to TFP is with a warm introduction. It keeps things relaxed and pressure-free for everyone involved.
Below are a few simple ways to do that. There’s no right or wrong option, you can choose what feels most right for you.

Option 1

A quick email introduction (most popular)

A short email introduction is often the easiest way to connect people.
You can either:
  • Reply to an existing email and CC us in, or
  • Forward this on with a brief note

If it helps, you’re very welcome to use the wording below and tweak it as you like:
Subject: Quick introduction
Hi [Name],
I’ve mentioned TFP Financial Planning to you before, they’ve been great for us.
I thought it might be helpful to introduce you.
No pressure at all, just an introduction, I’ll let you both take it from here.
Best,
[Your name]
Once we’re introduced, we’ll take care of the next steps gently and at a pace that suits everyone.

Option 2

An informal introduction

Sometimes it feels nicer to meet first and its a great reason for us to meet up too!
If you’d prefer an informal introduction (for example over a coffee, lunch or a round of golf) we’re always happy to do that.

You can book a time that works for you, the person you’re introducing, and one of our planners, and we’ll take care of the arrangements.

Option 3

They reach out themselves

If the person you’re thinking of would rather get in touch directly, that’s absolutely fine too.

We’ve put together a short page explaining what an initial conversation with TFP is like, so they know what to expect before reaching out.

A quick note

There’s no obligation for anyone to take things further — introductions are simply that: introductions.
We’re grateful to be thought of, and we’ll always treat both you and the person you’re introducing with care and respect.
